The Australian Graphic Design Associations’s (AGDA) Design Awards recognise the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines. It highlights every generation of talent, from students at colleges and universities, through to the long-established leaders of our profession.

AGDA also announced the inaugural Emerging Designer of the Year – an award which recognises young designers making their mark on our industry – and it went to Josie Young from Christopher Doyle & Co. Josie has not only been involved with work both highly regarded and awarded, but she has also made remarkable contributions to the industry, from being a chair on the AGDA NSW Junior Council, to co-creating Dames and Dumplings, a mentorship event for young women in the design industry.

Well done to all finalists and award recipients.
